Southwest side of pond 6 (44.0638611, -123.2728611). With black-bellied plover, which provided a nice comparison. Some golden color visible on back. The evening light was obviously a factor but comparing to the BBPL helped account for that. White extended from side of neck in a thin stripe down the flank. Seemed to be a bit more white on one side but maybe that was just its posture. Black mottling on the undertail coverts was the big clincher for me. Took a bunch of pics through my scope but I’m not sure any really do it justice.
