One of these Yellowthroats had unusual plumage. It had what I would call a black 'necklace'. Not sure if it is a hybrid or just odd plumage. A follow-up visit by Mike Murphy who was able to get much more detailed photos, as well as consensus of multiple knowledgeable birder’s on other platforms, is this is a COYE with problems such an injury to the throat area.
