The bird was making the repetitive clucking vocalization in the channel between the main slough and the mouth of the Bark River ( estimate 1/43/8 mile) west of the mouth of the river. This is about 1/4 mile west of where I reported one last year or in 2023. No visual ID. Perhaps 20 repeated vocalizations.
