Stayed close to the Black-bellied Plovers and flew off and returned with them 3-4 times while we watched. Slightly smaller than BBPL, relatively short bill, appeared mostly reddish in flight on the underside of body with white undertail. When it landed, pale reddish-orange chest contrasting with gray back. Larger than nearby Dunlin.
