Dark green robust hummingbird with distinct violet patch on the side of the head. black bill.Mostly hidden or moving in the thickets. Made occasional short appearances allowing clear view few times harassed by the buff bellied hummingbirds. First appearance at 9:30 am at 26.1469483, -97.9889183 (same location as reported yesterday). Poor photo to be added
