*long-time resident here. Bob and I were standing right beside the telephone pole it perched on. Bob happened to look up and notice it fly in and land. Great looks at it at very close range. It eventually flew off again. We got great looks at it in flight, too. Orange pattern on upper chest, "Red-tailed"-ish belly band. Red and black barred upper tail with wider black terminal band. I last saw it here in April 2024. Always a treat to see it. Have pictures from four different perspectives.
