Continuing juvenile. Medium-sized sandpiper with large Dunlin flock. Warm brown overall with white belly and unstreaked, buffy chest. Rufous cap and contrasting pale eyebrow. Rather short, straight bill. Yellowish-green legs. More contrasting head pattern than Pectoral Sandpiper (relatively darker cap and lighter eyebrow). Slightly larger and longer-legged than Dunlins with much shorter bill and warmer brown color overall. Photos.
