Immature found with group of three White-crowned Sparrows. Bird initially responded to screech-owl calls and pishing. Used recorded call note to lure out for photos. Large sparrow (similar to White-crowneds) with warm brown face and pinkish-orange bill; dark brown breast band, which widens in center and extends down breast. Photos included.
