Perched to roost along power lines on Palo Verde, plus many more in the trees I couldn’t count well. Counted by tens and then by hundreds. Estimated 1,500-2000 birds. They have been gathering here in increasing numbers the past few weeks, as they did two years ago. This was the most I have seen together so far.
