Although unlikely range-wise, it may be an Australasian-race individual (I am personally new to this race, and noted the different markings on this bird in the field and on photos). Something looked slightly different in the field, but the views were somewhat brief. Bold and complete dark breastband/bib was observed as it flew slightly offshore.
