Upper Lake, photographed. Peep with yellow legs, white outer tail in flight, plain face with small white eye ring, long tail, and limited black-centered coverts running in a line down the scapulars. Call in flight a rattle similar to a LALO or SNBU—very different from any peep I’ve heard before.
