Mixed shorebird roost showing several Broad-billed Sandpiper
פרטי השורה
Careful individual count of birds in fairly large shorebird flocks. Roosts mostly consisting of smaller shorebirds - RNST, TESA, GRSP. Slightly larger than stints with distinctly kinked bill and split supercilium. Distinctive stamping of one foot while roosting with bill tucked in to back. A conservative count with some likely missed in mixed roosts. Some groups consisting of mostly this species which was a sight to behold.
