The migration spectacle continued. Throughout our outing, large flocks of migrating eiders were funneled by the geography and would cross over the base of the point, heading west-southwest. Additionally, large numbers were also seen passing by our seawatch, albeit distantly, coming from the north and headed SW. Many of the flocks had 100+ birds and so this estimate is likely a vast undercount.
