Lifer!!! Amazing! Hung out for about twenty minutes, then flew away. Never heard it call. SO TINY, and didn't even seem that much bigger in flight. Like a sparrow on the branch and a robin in flight, size-wise. So small I didn't even think it could be an owl until I got my bins on it. Adorable!!! Scratched a bit, turned head a lot, at one point was very focused at a spot below it. Saw false eye spots a bit, too. Moved around a tiny bit on the branch.
