Two successive cuts of an Olive Warbler singing its varied song at dawn from a tall conifer above the campsites at Long Park. In the first cut, there is a loud Steller’s Jay calling nearby, which eventually flies off, improving the cut. Other background sounds include: Hermit Thrush, Band-tailed Pigeon, House Wren, Northern Flicker, and another (distant) Olive Warbler. At the end of the second cut, the bird stops singing (and flies farther away). Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
