Quietly walking along the penguin viewing boardwalk at around 11.30 am, I chanced upon what I thought immediately was a Rufous Fantail. Blackbirds and Welcome Swallows the only other birds present. No wind, very calm conditions, nothing remarkable. Lots of insects so was busy feeding and not at all worried by my presence. We went back the following day, no sighting. Jill Sanders #269156
