Large dark-backed gull about the size of Glaucous-winged Gull. Back color about the same as Wymani Western Gull. Note bright pink legs, noticeable yellow eye (not squinty), large pale outer window in underwing without significant black/dark as WEGU has, and the hint of string of pearls on the upper extended wing. Seen in large flock with Lesser Black-backed Gull off northern tip of Bateman Island. All photos by Phil Bartley.
