I spotted the male as it flew in front of my car. I went back over to the spot with binoculars and found a male and female together, in with a number of Inca Doves. The birds were present for a number of weeks here and were seen subsequently by numerous birders. The attached photos show all of the relevant fieldmarks to the exclusion of other species.
