Warbler-size bird flew across Caleton Rd right in front of me, very fast, with an obvious white patch on the black wing. Underparts pure white. Did not see head, breast, throat or bill. It disappeared into thick vegetation. I did not think it was unusual as they are widespread in the WI, until I asked Dr. Luis Diaz later. It was calling in flight, maybe a slurred trill, but I don't remember exactly. Bond (1960) says "range WI, except Republic of Cuba & Swan Islands", "exhibits much geographical variation". I don't expect this report to be accepted, but this species has been seen in the Zapata area and on the northern cays, locations with many birders. I have seen BANA in Florida, Peru, Ecuador, Bahamas, Trinidad/Tobago & Puerto Rico, but always perched.
