An adult with a large youngster at the road side on the hill on the approach to the reservoir. It appeared that the young bird was still unable to fly and the roadside wall was too high for it to get over; the adult stayed with it. Both birds crouched in the leaf litter (about 5 feet apart) at the side of the road and became incredibly difficult to see, even from quite close range.
