At roped-off area on the beach: when arriving at the beach go to the right and make the turn until you see the yellow warning signs. The birds are nesting on a spit in the distance but are hunting closer, hovering over then diving. We also observed courtship rituals of birds feeding each other fish. Special thanks to Amber Moore from VA DCR who stands guard every day to make sure these birds are protected!
