This is one of the females (female type) belonging to a group of 21 Parrot Crossbills that stayed in this area fir several.....weeks.Parrot Crossbill invasions are rare in The Netherlands. Invasions were recorded in 1887-88, 1982-83 1990-91 and of course in 2013-14. Elevation: 47 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
