Red-crested Pochard : Staying back in India during summer with Eurasian Coots. The field thermometer showed ambient temp. to be 47 deg. C ( 116.6 deg. F ) on this day. This female was in the company of Coots. Some one had sighted a few male Red-crested Pochards as well but we could not locate them on this day. Elevation: 213 m. Date added to IBC: May 18, 2017.
