A Red-faced Mousebird eating salt. Red-faced Mousebirds (Urocolius indicus) are widespread in southern Africa and usually travel in small groups, eating fruit from native plants or orchards. This bird was eating salt from a cattle salt lick block at the Pilanesberg Centre. Elevation: 1146 m. Date added to IBC: February 13, 2019.
