An alerted bird moving in a tree, with several close-ups. Dedicated to the memory of Jaime Sard. Two days after I took this video I phoned home from the Solomons and was told about the accidental and sad death of Jaime, one of my very best friends, with whom I shared a 13-month-long trip through 15 African countries, and so many other things during almost 40 years. I reckon that while he was saying goodbye to this world, I was recording this single-island endemic bird, and that is why I have selected it to honor him. Elevation: 39 m.
