Female on nest and actively foraging nearby, male heard only a little ways away. Nest located fifteen or so feet above the ground in young Garry Oak. Habitat is second-growth Garry Oak and Deerbrush, with Pondarosas not far away. Observed on and off for the two hours we were present. Both sexes calling, and female observed giving a whisper twittering song, male also was heard singing briefly.
