NOTES: Hauled out on short "law" grass at top of beach. No parabola; seal was loafing and moulting. Approach of recorder or another elephant seal. Background: wind in grass, wind crackles in mic, Crested Duck (male) "wheew" (Anas specularioides), Magellan Penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus). SEAOCEAN.
