Its in there somewhere...
Détails de l'observation
Notes that I wrote down later in the day: A relatively dull individual with most intense yellow in center of throat and upper breast and then undertail coverts. The rest of underparts appeared pale yellow with closer views and good light, but appeared dull buffy white with poorer views. Dark eyeline extending thru eye anteriorly and posteriorly – dark lores. The eyebrow whitish extending to bill (not on forehead) and behind eye. The face quite unlike WAVI. The shape compared to WAVI different as tail shorter, head more rounded, and bill seemed shorter. The tail showed pointed rectrices. Greater coverts thinly edged with paler color and creating very indistinct wingbar. Blackish primaries showed distally and along leading edge of wing – including the primary coverts. No calls. I managed one “its in there” photo of the bird which I’ve cropped and shows some of the marks.
