Détails de l'observation
In the same tree as a Cerulean Warbler- what a treat! Black chinstrap is what caught my attention at first and when I looked more closely, I literally let out a yelp of excitement. I believed that I heard one near the BMX track when I arrived but there was so much going on, I discounted it and moved on as these birds are often a bit more uncommon here. As I was finishing up my drive down Peavine Falls Road, I pulled over for to hopefully catch a decent glimpse of the 4th Cerulean I had heard for the day. I located the CEWA and much to my surprise, this Blackpoll was foraging on a branch no less than 20 feet away! After snapped a few decent photos; I decided to leave as a Blackpoll and Cerulean Warbler in the same tree would be hard to top.
