NOTES: LNS- High-pass filter at 220 Hz. Recordist- Recording almost continually from 5:45 AM till 6:10 AM (sunrise at 6:25, although actually later at this location because of mountains). The mike was moved in an arch of about 120¡ depending on where the loudest sound was coming from. The hum comes from the mike being too close to the recorder at times. The most obvious species are Otus asio, Glaucidium gnoma, Toxostoma longirostre. The temp was about 65-70¡F. The sky was clear and no wind. [This recording appears to contain a variety of calls by this species (among other things). Most of the earlier calls may represent the "Toe-ree" call of BNA (e.g., 0:07, 0:11, 0:14, 0:18...), if indeed given by this species. Many of the calls heard later were certainly given by this species and they represent the "Tsuck" Call of BNA (0:25, 0:265, 0:30, 0:35...). The "churr" calls may also have been given by this species (0:055, 0:10, 0:13...), if so, probably representing the "Verr" of BNA, but somewhat different than those in LNS #96358. Quality changed from "3 mdm" to 3-2 - CAM - 10 November 2005].
