Images. Physical details same as previous. Round low pitched "wew" call. Seen at closer range. More extensive pale region at base of mandible -- seen from below -- than observed previously. Pines and Eucalyptus east of shelter 17. Empidonax with snappy tail flicking motion. Eye ring pronounced with only slight elongation to rear. Bill short for this genus. From side appearing to be mostly gray. Mostly drab olive colored. Brightest under belly and vent, with yellow tones. Vest pronouced, not sharply defined and consisting of blurry olive colored pattern contrasting with yellow tones of belly. Yellow extending upward into vest forming a peak. Primaries extending beyond undertail covers and overlapping with bases of rectrices.
