Mountain Bluebird male was traveling with 2 Townsend's Solitaires
Détails de l'observation
The bright flash of blue caught my attention as 3 birds flew into the tree beside me. The bird was smaller than the 2 TOSO it was travelling with but larger than a BCCH. It sat about 1/2 upright a bit fluffed on a branch. It had a pale gray breast and belly and very pale gray or white under the tail. It had a medium gray crown and nape with blue on the side of the head around the eyes and blue on the shoulders and back. The blue on the wing tips was brighter than on the body. The feathers of the wings were outlined with white. The bird had a very thin white eye ring, small black sharply pointed bill and black legs and feet. photo taken.
