Détails de l'observation
The broad outer primaries and narrow inner primaries (note change in width from P7 to P6) indicate an Archilochus hummingbird. The relatively narrow and tapered P10, along with the notched inner webs of the inner primary tips are indicative of Ruby-throated Hummingbird. This bird is an immature, as seen by the buff tips of the feathers, especially on the crown and nape. The almost unmarked throat (with just a few metallic green feathers at the edge), as well as a tiny white tip to R2, point to the bird being a female. In addition, the inner primaries are mildly notched, not markedly so as would be the case for a male.
