Détails de l'observation
Both seen over reach 4 and the land to the NE ca 1010-1020, flying more or less together. Gliding and flapping with occasional hovers, facing into the ESE wind. They then moved off to the west. Observed 1 defecate - as with the bird last week, it briefly swung its legs forward while doing so. Both had dark breast bands and dusky undertail tips. At 1357, I saw a RLHA doing occasional flap-hovers east beyond the property. At 1407, a RLHA (same as previous?) stopped over the field in reach 3. I got poor photos of it that time, enough to identify it as a juvenile too. Photo comparison shows a resemblance in appearance to the more lightly-marked of the two birds seen earlier; I suspect but can not conclude for sure at this point that it was a third individual. I did not see either of the 2 adults from 9 Oct.
