NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 15. Bulk reel: 456 Weather: Fair. Vocalizations, apparently in a conflict situation. Quality: 1. Level: +3. 3/3/4 ips; Quality 1. Level: 0. 7.5 ips; Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. 3 3/4 ips. 203 tape. *The birds looked like this species and there is some similarity in the voice, but there are differences too. The identification is NOT 100% sure. The loud, somewhat dendrocoloptid-like phrases, seem to be of this species too and if so, this is not at all like the species in Venezuela. Note that in Cut 14 of Misc. Birds-Brazil this loud phrase continues without the other voice!?!?.
