NOTES: Muscivora tyrannus. Neotropical Institute Cut # 2. Bulk reel: 444. Weather: cloudy. NOTES: "a) Display among 4 birds. They sat in the small trees "singing" and then every now and then would sally forth w/ fluttering wings (sometimes making wing whirrs - most of which occurred while I was changing reels), tails spread wide open and a much louder vocalization. In b.g. are: Soporphila minuta @ beginning and Coccopis gularis (faint) [Coccopis - I could not find this genus name in Peters..mf] [a note about a) appears written over the Hour/Locality/Altitude columns. It is too faint - I cannot make out what it says.mf] Quality: 1; Level: 6. b)The display broke up when some cowboys rode by. One bird resumed singing by itself some distance away. Quality: 2; Level: 7." PAS. Other Behaviors: Perform Visual Display.
