Used "wisdom of the crowd". Asked for volunteers to count dovekie and to keep the number to themselves until the end to avoid influencing others. I have ground truthed myself numerous times over the years by comparing estimates to photographs and I consistently undercount, however definitely fewer than last year. Counts as follows. Masterson - 1055 Becky Suomala - 1300 Nathan Dubrow - 1290 Caitlin Shaughnessy - 861 Average - 1126
