Found near where it has been reported in a tall Eucalyptus adjacent to the trail. An immature male with a patterned black and white head with a white eyebrow and a patch of pink at the chin. Underside is white with the exception of a large red orange chevron at the breast that extends in a thin band downward. The wings are black with patches of white and the back seened streaky. Large white spots on the underside of the tail. Prominent thick pink bill.
