Skulking in dense tall shrubs, mostly New Mexico privet. Thrasher with rather long slightly decurved bill, long tail, rufous upperparts, blackish abundant streaking on whitish underparts. Preserve is closed for the winter, we are counting here for weekly citizen science survey, please do not chase.
