Continuing at the gate of Calera Creek Trail. Very active in large group with savannah sparrows. Larger overall size, with very visible white eye ring. Savannah sparrows are smaller and have a yellowish forehead. Previously seen on the eleventh. Photos. Not great, but the white eye ring is noticable. Also, facial patterns are different. Very exiting, probably the fifth or sixth time i've come for a vesper sparrow, first time I've had any luck.
