Continuing second state record found Saturday by Max Epstein. actively feeding along entrance road between lighthouse and restaurant with Grashopper and Song Sparrows. Conspicuous speckling on the back. Streaked crown, eyering. Pale edges to tertials. Photos. A life bird for me and an amazing find by Max. When I found it this morning, it was inches from my foot, but I watched it feed actively for quite some time and it showed no signs of lethargy despite the cold temperature.
