Continuing 1st winter bird immediately recognizable by black M markings across the dorsal aspect of wings, white posterior trail of wings and black tail border. Flying back and forth along the furthest shore of the lake, often accompanied by Bonaparte’s Gulls. Flight somewhat nightjar-like often punctuated by sharp turns
