NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 20. Bulk reel: 234 Weather: Fair. Calls by a flying flock. Quality: 2. Level: +3. Then, after the flock has alighted in a tree, many different vocalizations. Quality: 1-2. Then some nasal chatter; it is not certain if this [nasal chatter] is A. ochrocephala (a sound like this seems to be given by several Amazona parrot species.) for a few moments later some calls are record[ed] and included here which are almost beyond doubt of A. farinosa (the "chip-chop" calls). Quality: 1. Level: +3; quality: 1. Level: 0. 203 tape. Low noise. I did not find large concentrations of this species in the Rio Catatumbo region, although they were common here in the Rio Tucuco area; conversely, here there seemed to be few A. farinosa while in the R. Catatumbo region they were numerous. Other Behaviors: Roost.
