Continuing in Pond A8, seen from the yacht club. I still think that it is a Pelagic Cormorant, not a Brandt’s Cormorant, based on the thin bill and slender neck. Also, the whole face appears light, and not the throat. At first, it was on the piece of concrete far to the right of the line of concrete where all the other cormorants were. Then, at 12:40pm, it entered the water. After Mike Rogers arrived, I spotted it to the left of the line of concrete. It eventually hopped up onto the concrete and preened. I have distant photos.
