Soaring near the intersection of Milltail and Long Curve Rds., near the "borrow pit" pond. Light immature. Photos included for documentation. Note shape, relative to Red-tailed Hawk, of being more narrow and pointed-winged, not as bulky. Wings two-toned, with pale wing-linings and darker primaries and secondaries. Whitish base to tail. Belly clear whitish, with dark streaking limited to the sides of the upper breast and neck, giving a somewhat cowled look. Tail grayish below, palest toward base, dark toward tip, with fine barring visible.
