Détails de l'observation

One 1st cycle bird was unusual in appearance. Dark sooty gray all over, especially on the head and breast approaching the color of Heermann's Gulls nearby. Sharply bicolored bill with flesh color on the basal 3/4 and a well marked black tip resembling a California Gull on the distal 1/4 . Considerable widening at the gonys like Western.
