Détails de l'observation
Found on Nov. 13 by Frank Sencher along with David Bernstein and Pete Kwiatek. This is the 3rd NJ record of this species and has been seen daily since then by many observers. Today it was refound repeatedly by Eddie Politz and was viewed, albeit sporadically, by approximately 12 people. This morning it was first relocated by Eddie near the path to the bird blind slightly north of the boat launch parking area. It continuously moved northerly from there working both sides of the road. Those familiar with this particular individual said it was greatly expanding its range at Spruce Run. Olive back, yellow underparts, gray hood with a split eye-ring and dark lores. It was constantly on the move. The photos below are from pure luck.
