With a group of about 10 mergansers 1/2 mile north of Goplens Launch at one of the pullouts on Twilight Road. Female/juvenile type. Large black duck with a heavy bill and two white spots on cheek area of head. Watched the bird for about 10 minutes prune and spread its wings showing us an absence of white wing patches. Will upload photos.
