One on the beach at sunrise as I was walking out to the count. It was quickly mobbed by ravens and disappeared. Later in the morning a more heavily marked individual was spotted roosting in the dunes SW of the count. That bird was in view for most of the day as it roosted and relocated a few times, once flying right past me at the tip of the point. It became more active as the snow got heavier in the afternoon.
