Bigger than a pacific golden plover, they were found on the same trash strewn strip at the mouth of the Parañaque River that empties to the Manila Bay. Plump. Relatively long and sturdy dark bill. Plumage pattern different from the tringas I usually see in the location. Looks like a juvenile Great Knot.
